Vasilievsky Island, Neva Bay area of the Gulf of Finland
Golden City is the project for the development of hydraulic-fill areas of Vasilievsky Island, which is designed for 450,000 sq.m of business class residential property.
A complex of unique European architecture, it was recognized as the winner at the European Property Awards international competition in 2016 in the category “Residential developments in Russia”, was announced the “Opening of the Year” by Urban Awards and received a high appraisal at the leading real estate market event MIPIM-2018 in Cannes, France.
The Consortium of Dutch architects KCAP&Orange was the developer of the concept, and the Russian Bureau “A.Len'' is working to customize the project.
15 hectares of hydraulic-fill areas, split into 6 blocks, are located at a comfortable distance from the Western High-Speed Diameter, which connects Vasilievsky Island with other districts of the city. The environment built around the complex does not only satisfy the needs of future residents but will become a cultural and tourist site of the city. Golden City is a new postcard of Saint Petersburg with a view of the Gulf of Finland.
